Oil Cooler: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Raise the car and unscrew the plug.
2. Remove the spring and thermostat.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the thermostat and spring.
- Check that the thermostat rests on the flange before it bottoms in the thermostat housing.
2. Check the seal and sealing face and install the plug, then tighten to: 60 Nm (44 ft. lbs.).
3. Lower the car to the floor and check the oil level.
- Top up oil as necessary.
