Background
A clicking noise may occur in the second/third bow, especially in warm conditions.
The noise is caused by movement between the outer fabric and the aluminium bow.
After a complaint from the customer, the car must be rectified as described below.
Parts required
48 57 645 Felt tape (4 pcs.) (CA: 12541499)
Applying insulating tape to bows 2 and 3
1 Open the top so that it points straight up.
2 Apply 2 pcs. tape to each bow as shown in the illustration. Apply insulating tape 1" on top of the aluminium profile between the insulating strip insulating strip "2" and the rib "3".
