Leak Detection Solenoid: Service and Repair

To Remove.
1. Jack up the car and remove the right-hand front wheel.
2. Undo the plastic nut and screws to remove the mud flap.
3. Undo the wing liner's three retaining screws and three plastic rivets in the wheel housing.

NOTE: To remove the rivets, press in the centre pin with a drift.

4. Remove the bolt securing the front of the wing liner to the spoiler and the bolt securing the wing liner to the bumper.

5. Release the wing liner's snap fastener from the front wing, using a screwdriver, and withdraw the liner from the wheel housing.

IMPORTANT: Exercise care when removing the wing liner to avoid damaging the paint work.

6. Remove the shut-off valve.

To Install.
Install in reverse order.
