Alternative 1: Inspection of steering column assembly only (no further action required)

Failure code: 10298-79-0-05-08
Labor operation: 10298 for 0.7 hr.
RAC = 1

Alternative 2: Inspection and replacement of steering column assembly

Failure code: 10298-79-0-05-01
Labor operation: 10298 for 0.7 hr.
Straight time: 0.8 hr., includes 0.2 hr. for test drive.
RAC = 3

The following information must be added to your DCS Table:

NOTE:
If a rental car is necessary, please submit a claim using the following information:

Enter amount to be claimed in sublet.
Enter DAC code.

NOTE:
Max. allowance for rental is 2 days. After that time DSPM would have to pre-approve with explanation provided in text.

You can add $7.00 for a car wash in sublet and topping off gasoline.





After the car has been modified, mark the campaign plate in position A3 using a numeral "8" (Saab Special Tool P/N 02 97 713). Order this special tool directly from Kent-Moore at 1-800-345-2233.
