An updated ISAT program board has been developed to expand ISAT's diagnostic capabilities for 1995 models, Figure 1. With the new program board, ISAT is able to retrieve fault codes and send command codes for the new M95 900 convertible top and the EDU.

NOTE
The 1994 program board has limited capabilities for use on the new M95 convertible top. There are a few codes you may be able to read but you will not be able to fully diagnose the codes. To fully diagnose the convertible top you will need to have the M95 program board.

All ISAT compatible 900 and 9000 models.

Price: $260.00 dlr. net plus a $100.00 Core Charge.

Your 1994 program board (version 4.01) must be returned to Kent-Moore. Upon receipt of your program board, we will issue a $100.00 credit to your Saab parts account. Only 1994 program boards can be returned for this credit. Program boards must be returned to Kent-Moore prior to October 1, 1994.

Program Board Replacement Procedure:

NOTE
The program board is sensitive to static electricity (ESD sensitive) and must be handled with special care. Never touch the contact pins or soldered joints and always place the module in or on the special protective ESD bag.

1. Remove the screw in the bottom end cover and slide the cover off.





2. Form a removal tool by bending a hook in one end of a piece of stiff wire. Hook the wire into the hole in the end of the program, Figure 2. Carefully pull the board back with the hook.

3. Slide the new board into the tester and press it firmly into the socket. Replace cover.
