Control Modules Location Overview

Control Module Locations:

ENGINE SYSTEMS

1. Motronic and Trionic
The control modules for the Motronic and Trionic engine management systems are located on a bracket in the cabin on the right-hand side below the right-hand A pillar.

2. Traction Control System (TCS)
The TCS control module is located under the right-hand front seat.

3. Transmission Control Module (TCM)
The TCM control module is located in the cabin on the right-hand side of the bulkhead partition.

12. Sensonic
The Sensonic control module is located in the cabin on the right-hand side of the bulkhead partition.

INSTRUMENTATION SYSTEMS

4. Integrated Central Electronics (ICE)
Left Hand Drive: The ICE control module is located on top of the relay board under the dashboard adjacent to the steering column.
Right Hand Drive: The ICE control module is located behind the relay board under the dashboard adjacent to the steering column.

5. Main instrument display panel 2
The control module for main instrument display panel 2 is located on the back of the main instrument display panel.

6. SID units 2 and 3
The SID unit is located in the middle of the centre console by the switch for the hazard flashers.

COMFORT SYSTEMS

7. Central locking system
The control module for the central locking system is located on the side panel inside the car on the right below the control modules for the engine management systems.

8. Cruise Control system
The control module for the Cruise Control system is located in the right-hand corner of the engine bay.

SAFETY SYSTEMS

9. Anti-lock Brake System
The ABS control module is integrated with the brake unit in the engine bay.

10. Airbag
The airbag control module is located on a bracket under the centre console between the front seats.

11. Anti-theft alarm
The control module for the anti-theft alarm is located under the left-hand front seat.

13. Top Stack Actuation System
The control module for hood operation is located in the luggage compartment on the left-hand side.
