C. Leakage: Overview

FROM THE JOINT BETWEEN THE FRONT AND CENTER SIDE SEALS, LEAKAGE FROM THE UPPER EDGE BETWEEN REAR SIDE WINDOW SEAL AND CENTER SIDE SEAL, AND REAR SIDE SEAL

Symptom:

Water drops on the inside of the window and on the upper edge of the door trim when the car is washed or after heavy rain. Follow steps 1 through 3.

If water leakage occurs from the upper edge between the rear side window seal and center side seal, adjust the rear quarter window as described below so that higher pressure is obtained at the points of contact. Follow step 4.

If water leakage occurs from the upper edge between the rear side window seal and center side seal, the seal can be stretched and fixed so that higher pressure is obtained at the points of contact. Follow step 5.
