4. Adjusting the Rear Quarter Window

Action:

a. Remove any flashing on the seal, using sandpaper or a razor blade. See Figure 12. Be careful not to damage the seal.

b. Adjust the rear quarter window. See Service Manual 8:5, page 136. It should be 1-2mm below the top of the front side window.





The clearance between the front side window and the leading edge of the rear quarter window should be 5/16" (8 mm) from top to bottom. See Figure 12.

c. Adjust the front seal and center side seals outward. See page 137 in Service Manual 8:5.

Important
Do not move the seals out so far that the front side window is pressed outward. The front side window must be in contact with the seal on the rear quarter window.
