FAULT DIAGNOSIS HINTS
Via a diagnostics position in the radio/cassette player it is possible to see whether any diagnostic trouble codes have been generated. Since these are not stored, every function (radio, cassette and CD player) has to be checked separately.
1. Check that fuses 4,13 and 9 are intact and supplied with current.
2. Check that the fuse at the rear of the radio/cassette player is intact.
3. Check the connectors, wiring harness and ground connections.
