Washers

The washer system consists of a fluid reservoir with a pump (dual pump with rear window wiper or single pump without rear window wiper) and fluid level monitor, hoses and nozzles for the Headlamps, windshield and rear window.
The fluid reservoir holds 4.7 liters and is mounted between the wing and the wing liner in the left-hand front wheel housing.
The washer pump and fluid level monitor are located in the bottom of the reservoir. The fluid level monitor causes a warning message to light up on auxiliary instrument panel 2 or 3 when the reservoir is about three-quarters empty (about 1.2 liters of fluid left).

Washer hoses
The nozzles for the windshield washers are fitted in the top and the nozzle for the rear window is fitted in the top of the tailgate.
The nozzles on the driver and passenger sides have double jets.
The nozzle for the rear window has a single jet.
A non-return valve in the hoses for the windshield, headlamp and rear window nozzles prevents the hoses from draining when the washers are not in use.
The nozzles for the headlamp washers are incorporated in the wiper arms.
The wiper/washer systems are operated by means of a stalk switch on the steering column.
