Fixing Loose Front Door Window Seal
Application:
Certain 1994 900
It is possible for the inner window seal on the front doors of 1994 900s to come loose from the steel flange. The service solution for this is to fit a clip as described below.
Cars Affected:
1994 900 within the following VIN Serial No. ranges:
R2000565 to R2038475
Parts:
Clip (one per door) 73 81 015
Action:
1. Lower the window and remove the door trim.
2. Very carefully lift the rear edge of the seal. See Figure 1. When removing the seal, the clip is also removed.
3. Press the clip onto the flange as far back as possible. See Figure 1.
4. Place the seal in position. See Figure 1.
5. Refit the door trim.
