A new special tool has been developed for use when installing or adjusting the drive shafts on a manual transmission. This tool is used to make sure the drive shaft seals in the transmission differential are not damaged or displaced.

Action:

Use the tools as follows:

1. Fit the tool in the hole for the drive shaft.

2. Insert the drive shaft in the tool and press the shaft slightly into the differential housing.

3. Withdraw the tool.

4. Press the drive shaft fully home.
