Differential Bearing Race

NOTE: Component identifier numbers used in the following illustrations relate to specific steps in the procedures below.





REPLACEMENT
1. Remove the five screws of the seal holder and remove the seal holder. Put the shims, screws and seal holder in a safe place.




2. Press out the bearing race, together with its shims and seal holder, using sleeve tube tool No. 87 92 202 and sleeve ring tool No. 87 91 204, or equivalent.

NOTE: The bearing race is reinstalled later after the bearing preload has been measured during assembly procedures.
