In Vehicle

1. Remove the drive shaft on the lefthand side and the drive shaft and intermediate shaft on the righthand side. Refer to Steering and Suspension.
2. Remove the five screws which hold the seal holder.
3. Carefully pry out the seal holder with two large screwdrivers. Put the shims in a safe place.
4. Replace the sealing ring and O-ring.
5. Install the shims and carefully tap in the seal holder. Tighten the screws to 20-24 Nm (14.5-17.5 ft. lbs.).
6. Install the drive shafts.
