List of Procedures

Problems can be caused by the car's engine, the transmission's electronics or by the transmission itself.
Thus fault-tracing should initially aim to establish where the problem lies.
Trace the fault in accordance with the list below until the fault is remedied:
1. Read any fault codes with ISAT scan tool before the battery is disconnected.
2. Check fluid level and fluid quality.
3. Check selector lever.
4. Check transmission range switch contacts.
5. Check idling speed.
6. Check stalling speed.
7. Check hydraulic pressure.
8. Test drive the car as specified in "Diagnosis and Test Form" for Automatic Transmission AF 20/22.

10. Fault-tracing of mechanical and hydraulic faults.
