Checking TCM Power Supply and Ground Connection

CHECKING TCM POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CONNECTION

Fault symptom
CHECK GEARBOX does not come on when you switch the ignition on, or there are frequent disturbances in its functioning.

Diagnostic procedure
With the ignition switched OFF, connect a BOB between the Transmission Control Module and the wiring.

Check and remedy any faults in the power supply and ground connections as follows, with the ignition in drive position:
^ BATT+ -- pin 17 <0.5 V,
^ BATT+ -- pin 18 <0.5 V,
^ Pin 22 -- BATT- <0.1 V,
^ Pin 35 -- BATT- <0.1 V.
