Maintenance Procedures

1. Place vehicle on level surface and apply parking brake.
2. Transaxle fluid should be at operating temperature (176°F or 80°C). This is reached after driving about 12.4 miles.
3. Clean fluid dipstick with lint-free cloth, then reinsert.
4. Fluid level should read between MIN and MAX markings on side of oil dipstick marked °C.
5. If necessary, top off fluid with Dexron II type automatic transaxle fluid through pipe in dipstick. Distance between markings corresponds to volume of about 0.42 quarts.
6. When outdoor temperature is low (below 32°F), a temperature of 176°F (80°C) is never reached. Read fluid level on side of dipstick marked °C.
