Input Shaft: Service and Repair
NOTE: Component identifier numbers used in the following illustrations relate to specific steps in the procedures below.Removal
1. Turn the expansion tank aside.
2. Remove the sensor's screw.
3. Raise the car.
4. Remove the lefthand front wheel.
5. Inch out the sensor.
6. Unplug the electrical connector.
Installation
1. Plug in the sensor connector and install the sensor in place.
2. Install the front wheel.
Tightening torque:
- Pressed steel wheel: 100 Nm (74 ft. lbs.)
- Light alloy wheel: 120 Nm (89 ft. lbs.)
Lower the car.
3. Tighten the sensor's screw to 6 Nm (54 inch lbs.).
4. Install the expansion tank.
