APPLICATION:
1994 900 Model Service Manuals

Since the initial distribution of the 1994 900 Service Manuals, a number of product modifications and amendments to the text have been made. These changes are listed in this service bulletin according to manual number and title, such as, 0 Technical data. Update the manuals by writing in the changes on the appropriate pages. Alternatively, reference to this Service Bulletin can be made by writing "See Service Bulletin 04/94-0455" on the appropriate pages.

ACTION:

Make the changes as specified to the appropriate service manual(s).

The following item may apply to one or more of the service manuals.

- Connector "H33-1" should be Grey and connector "H33-3" should be Blue. This applies only to the "Location of Components" and NOT to the wiring diagrams where the connector colors are correct.

- Grounding point G5 under the rear seat is to be discontinued during the course of the model year. As a result, cable Q31 BK 1.0 will be transferred to grounding point G14 under the LH seat and cables E31-1 BK 1.5 and V31-8 BK 4.0 to grounding point G3 below the LH rear light.

- The tightening torque for the wheel bolts is changed to:

90-110 Nm (66.6-81.4 ft.lb.) for pressed steel wheels and 105-130 Nm (77.7-96.2 ft.lb.) for light alloy wheels.
