Tech 2 Compatibility/ISAT Status

Application:

This bulletin is issued to advise you of Tech 2 Compatibility with the various operating systems found in 1994-1997 900 and 9000 models and the status of ISAT at this time.

Tech 2:

All 1994-97 900 and 9000 systems are fully functional in Tech 2 with the following exceptions:

1. No OBDII "Freeze Frame" functions yet; no Generic Scan Tool functionality.

2. 1994-97 900 SID: all SID functions are fully operational except for programming capabilities.

3. 1994 9000:

^ ETS system not yet implemented

^ Airbag not yet implemented

^ EDU not yet implemented

4. 1995 9000:

^ ETS system not yet implemented

These functions/systems will be implemented in future software releases.

ISAT Status:

1. ISAT must still be used in diagnosis of all 1993 and earlier systems.

2. ISAT can continue to be used on 1994-1996 ISAT-compatible systems. See PSI 09/96-0709.

3. ISAT should still be used to obtain "Freeze Frame" information from ANY 1995-1997 900 or 9000.

4. ISAT should still be used to program a new SID unit on 1994-97 900 models.
