Power Supply (+54 Circuit)
+Power Supply (+54 Circuit):
WIRING DIAGRAM
DESCRIPTION OF OPERATION
Positive voltage is taken from battery 1 and supplied to ignition switch 20 via Maxi fuse 3.
When the ignition switch is turned to the Drive position, terminals 30 and 54 in the ignition switch are connected to each other. (In the Start position the terminal is disconnected.)
Current is then supplied via crimped connection J88 to:
^ Main fuse board 22A
- fuses 20-22
^ The relay coil of ignition switch relay 21
The relay contact in ignition switch relay 21 closes and current is supplied via crimped connection J6 to:
^ Main fuse board 22A
- fuses 3, 6-8, 14-15, 24, 31, 33
and then via crimped connection J91 to:
^ Main fuse board 342A
- fuses 10 and 11
^ The relay coil of horn relay 68.
FAULT DIAGNOSIS HINTS
1. Check the battery voltage
2. Check that current is supplied to the relevant fuse and that ignition switch relay 21 is in working order by turning the ignition switch to the Drive position. Current should then by present on relay terminal 87.
3. Check the relevant wiring harness.
