Parking Brake Warning Switch: Service and Repair

The switch for the handbrake warning lamp is mounted on a bracket below the handbrake lever.
1 Raise the car and remove the handbrake cable at the rear.
2 Lower the car to the floor and remove the left-hand front seat.
3 Remove the rear section of the center console.
4 Remove the handbrake lever.
5 Remove the switch.
Install in reverse order.
