Background
While diagnosing a fault in the SRS system on Saab 900, it is possible that as many as six DTCs can be recorded. These could include: B2332, B2337, B2442, B2447, B1332 and B1337.
Do not immediately condemn the control module. We have seen these codes caused by a fault in the SRS wiring harness.
Should four or more of these DTCs occur together, replace the wiring harness if the book diagnostics do not pinpoint a fault. It is not necessary to replace the vehicle's main harness as a spare part wiring harness is now available.
