Air Bag Module, Replace

Fig. 8 Driver Air Bag Module Replacement:

1. Disable airbag system, refer to, Airbag Arming and Disarming.
2. Remove two airbag module retaining screws. Fig. 8.
3. Disconnect airbag electrical connector, then remove airbag module.
4. Reverse procedure to install. Torque airbag module to 4.1-5.3 ft. lbs.
