Rear Fog Light

Important: The lights switch must be in position 2 for the rear fog light to be operative.
No monitoring is performed by the Integrated Central Electronics (ICE) module.

1 Check that fuse 30 in the main fuse box in the dashboard and the rear fog light bulb are intact.
2 Check that 12 V is present on one of the lamp connector pins and that the resistance on the other is < 1 ohm by taking readings between the pins and a good grounding point.
If this is not the case, check the wiring for continuity/shorting between the lamp and pin 8 of the connector for the rear fog light switch.
3 Unplug the rear fog light switch and check whether about 12 V is present on connector pin 5.
If it is not, check the lead between the fuse and connector pin 5 for continuity/shorting.
4 Check the rear fog light switch by connecting a jumper lead between pins 5 and 8 of the switch connector.
If the rear fog light works, the fault is in the switch. Change the switch.
