Various Audible Warnings

Seat-belt warning
Cars for certain markets also have an audible "DING DONG" warning which is activated for 6 seconds when Integrated Central Electronics (ICE) module pin 20 is grounded via the driver's seat-belt buckle switch. If the driver's seat belt is inserted into the buckle before the end of the 6-seconds period the audible warning will stop.

Audible key warning
Cars for certain markets have an audible key warning which sounds if the key is left in the ignition switch when the driver's door is opened.

As long as the key remains in the ignition switch, power is supplied from ignition switch terminal B to ICE module pin 65. When the driver's door is opened the door switch closes the circuit to ground via ICE module pin 44.

The audible key warning is emitted by the Saab Information Display (SID) unit for a maximum of 10 minutes.
This feature can be enabled/disabled by means of a Intellegant Saab Tester (ISAT) scan tool.
