Reading Lamps

The reading lamps are supplied with power (+30), regardless of the position of the ignition switch. Depending on the position of the lamp switch (on or off), the Integrated Central Electronics (ICE) module grounds the reading lamps.

To spare the battery, the reading lamps remain on for a maximum of 20 minutes.

To turn the lamps on again (for a fresh 20-minute period), open and close a door or switch the ignition on and off.

The reading lamps are switched off for a maximum of 20 seconds when starting so that full battery power will be supplied to the starter motor.
