Daytime Driving Lights

The Integrated Central Electronics (ICE) module can be programmed for three different light switching modes, depending on the market specification.
The three versions are:
"ALT 1"
With the lights switch in position 0 or 1, the head- lamps should not be activated. With the switch in position 0, the parking lights should not be activated.
"ALT 2"
With the lights switch in position 0, dipped beams should be activated. With the switch in position 1, the headlamps should not be activated at all.
"ALT 3"
With the lights switch in position 0 or 1, dipped beams should be activated.
In all three alternatives, it is possible to switch between main beam and dipped beam only when the lights switch is in position 2.

For reasons of safety, dipped head lamps are turned off for a maximum of 20 seconds in the Start position, regardless of the programming alternative and regardless of whether the lights switch is in position 0 or 1.
