Electrically Heated Rear Seat
Power is supplied to Integrated Central Electronics (ICE) module pin 43 when the switch for the electrically heated rear seat is pressed. The ICE module grounds the relay for the electrically heated rear seat via pin 13, causing power to be supplied to the two heating pads in the rear seat.
The ICE module grounds the relay for 5 minutes, then waits for 2.5 minutes and grounds the relay again for 2.5 minutes.
It is possible to activate the electrically heated rear seats again during the 2.5 minutes pause.
Heating of the rear seat can be activated only when the ignition switch is in the Start or Drive position. When the ignition switch is in the Start position, the electric heating function is turned off for up to 20 seconds so that maximum power will be supplied to the starter motor.
