Replacement of Fuel Injection Wiring (V6 Engine)
To remove
1 Remove the engine covers.
2 Remove the three front spark plugs/HT leads
3 Remove the air cleaner and air induction hose between the air cleaner and throttle body.
4 Undo the seven nuts securing the upper part of the intake manifold.
5 Undo the lower part and remove the upper bolt from the bracket for the intake manifold.
6 Unplug the idle air control valve connector.
7 Disconnect the vacuum hose.
8 Disconnect the hose for the brake servo on the intake manifold.
9 Unbolt the cable conduit.
10 Carefully lift up the upper part of the intake manifold and place it on the engine, in the middle.
Replace the wiring with new wiring.
To install
11 Install the new wiring.
Check the cable codes and color coding of the connectors carefully against the wiring diagrams.
NOTE: Fix the wiring properly so that no knocking, rattling or other unwanted noise occurs when the car is being driven.
