Tires: Description and Operation
Refer to the illustration for wheel and tire sizes, noting the following:
Low profile tires are fitted to the car. To explain what the tire markings mean, the size designation 195/60 R 15 88 V can be used as an example:
195 = Tire section width in mm
60 = Aspect ratio, i.e. the section height is 60%of the section width.
R = Radial
15 = Inside diameter of tire in inches (wheel diameter at bead seats)
88 = Tire load code (88 corresponds to 560 kg)
V = Speed marking (V = up to 240 km/h)
