DESCRIPTION OF OPERATION
The ICE control module controls the front fog lights and, depending on the market variant for which the ICE control module is programmed, it grounds the fog light relay via pin 55 when current is present on pin 17.

When lights switch 10 is in position 0 (daylight driving lights), position 1 (parking lights) or position 2 (main or dipped beam head lamps), a positive voltage is applied to pin 5 of switch 88 for the extra fog lights via fuse 30 (which also supplies the parking lights with current).

When switch 88 is pressed, the ICE control module grounds relay 107 and the lamp built into the switch lights up at full strength. When the switch is not activated the lamp is supplied with current from rheostat 16 for the instrument lighting.

When the relay is operated, both fog lights 85 are supplied with current via fuse 2 from the closed relay contacts.

FAULTS DIAGNOSIS HINTS
The extra fog lights are switched on by pressing switch 88.
1. Check that fuses 2 and 30 are intact and supplied with current.
2. Check that each fog light bulb is OK and supplied with current.
3. Check the grounding of the lamp.
4. Check by taking readings at the connections that relay 107,lights switch 10 and switch 88 are in working order.
5. Check the connectors, wiring harness and ground connections.
