Correcting Complaint of Noise From Rear Floor Duct

It is possible that the distribution outlets fixed to the rear floor ducts under the front seats can loosen. Should a customer complain that these ducts have come loose (i.e. rear seat passenger notes it's loose) or complains of a rattling noise from this area, a clip has been developed as a service solution. See Action below.

Cars Affected:

1994-900 models up to VIN Serial No. S2026853

Parts: Clips (2 required per side) 94 59 975

Action:

1. Remove the three tube distribution outlet if it is not already loose.





2. Fit the clips to the bottom of the floor duct as shown in Figure 1.

3. Press the distribution outlet onto the floor duct.
