Hose/Line HVAC: Description and Operation

CAUTION: If connections in the A/C system are open, they must be plugged in order to prevent moisture from entering the system. There are specially made plugs for this which can be ordered.

Hoses, Pipes And 0-rings
The hoses have butyl rubber on the inside and an outside made of EDPM rubber. The hoses are equipped with heat protection where necessary.

The high-pressure pipe between the receiver and expansion valve and the low-pressure pipe between the expansion valve and compressor are divided as spares to make them easier to install.

The 0-rings are made of a special type of chloroprene rubber (neoprene). They should be lubricated with synthetic vaseline before they are fitted in the A/C system. When fitting A/C components, always install new 0-rings.
