Control Module and Components
Automatic Climate Control (ACC)
The ACC system consists of the following components:
1 ACC unit consisting of panel with integral control module.
2 Stepping motor for air distributor.
3 Cabin temperature sensor.
4 Solar sensor.
5 DC motor for recirculation damper.
6 Blended-air temperature sensor.
7 Fan control unit.
8 Stepping motor for air-blending damper
The main purpose of the ACC control module is to control the air conditioning system so that a comfortable cabin temperature is achieved as soon as possible after starting and then maintained throughout the journey.
The ACC control module consists of a display panel with pushbuttons and an integral control module. Cars equipped with ACC differ from cars equipped with A/C in that a number of sensors and actuator motors are added to the air conditioning system.
