1991- 900 and 1990- 9000 with B234





A new special toot has been made available for removing the crankshaft pulley bolt on 1991- 900 models and 1990- 9000 models with B234 engines. This new socket is necessary because of a change in the bolt size from 30 mm to 27 mm. As with the 30 mm socket, the 27 mm version is designed for use with wrench P/N 83 92 961.

NOTE
This socket, P/N 83 94 553, has been designated as a required special tool and will be automatically shipped to all dealers during the week of September 16-20.

Please store this tool in the Saab tool crate marked "Miscellaneous Saab Special Tools."

Warranty Information:

Effective September 20, the additional 0.7 hour straight time with 900 labor operation 21514 will no longer be allowed (see 900 Flat Rate/Failure Code Manual, pg. 2-15, revised 06/91).
