Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Service and Repair

NOTE: On air bag equipped vehicles, refer to Air Bags (Supplemental Restraint Systems), Service Precautions. Air Bag Systems Also refer to Service and Repair, Arming and Disarming.

1. Disconnect and remove battery.
2. On models equipped with Sensonic, remove battery shelf.
3. Separate radiator fan electrical connections.
4. Disconnect servo pump oil pipes and radiator breather hose clips from radiator crossmember. Turn oil pipe to one side.
5. Remove two radiator fan cover screws, then the cover.
6. Remove radiator fan to fan cover screws.
7. On models equipped with two-speed cooling fan, disconnect resistor.
8. Disconnect fan cover contacts, then remove fan.
9. Reverse procedure to install.
