DESCRIPTION OF OPERATION
Both front seats of the car are electrically heated.
The heating pads are supplied with current from fuse 20 in main fuse board 22A. They are turned on by means of switches 252 and 253.
Thermostats 64 then turn the heating pads on and off until the switch is depressed again.
Thermostat 64 closes at about +14°C and opens at about 28°C.
The heating pads in the seat are grounded to the corresponding front seat member (grounding points G14 and G24).
FAULT DIAGNOSIS HINTS
The heating pads will be operative when the ignition switch is in the Drive position.
1. Check that fuse 20 is intact and supplied with current.
2. Check the heating pads for continuity.
3. Check the connectors, wiring harness and ground connections.
