Grounding Points
G34S Grounding point, control module bracket (Signal) below the right-hand A pillar.

DESCRIPTION OF OPERATION
When the ignition switch is in the Drive position, positive voltage is supplied to cigarette lighter 48 via fuse 6.

The circuit closes when the cigarette lighter is pressed in.

FAULT DIAGNOSIS HINTS
1. Check that fuse 6 is intact and supplied with current.
2. Check the cigarette lighter filament.
3. Check the ground connection.
