Replacement

NOTE: On air bag equipped vehicles, refer to Air Bags (Supplemental Restraint Systems), Service Precautions. Air Bag Systems Also refer to Service and Repair, Arming and Disarming.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove hydraulic unit cover.
2. Remove electrical boot, then disconnect two-pole electrical connector.
3. Remove six control module securing bolts, then the control module from hydraulic unit. Leave washers on hydraulic unit.
4. Reverse procedure to install. Start vehicle and check that warning lamps go out.
