Electronic Brake Control Module: Description and Operation

The control module forms an integral unit with the ABS unit and has a 25-pin connector.
The control module always receives information on the speed of the wheels through input signals from the wheel sensors.
If any of the wheels has greater deceleration on braking than the others, the control module controls the solenoid valves so the hydraulic brake pressure can be kept constant or reduced, and every wheel can obtain the maximum from the friction of the road surface.
The control module incorporates the main relay, the pump relay, a 4-pin connector for voltage measurement and ground and a 6-pin connector for solenoid valves.
