Brake Pipe

Removal
1. Clean the connections of the damaged brake pipe.
2. Unscrew the brake pipe and any other securing clips.

CAUTION: Use a brake wrench for installing and removing nipples.

3. Insert plastic plugs into the open connections and removed the damaged brake pipe.

CAUTION: Brake pipes should not be bent or strained.

Installation
1. Using compressed air, blow the new brake pipe clean.
2. Position the pipe, remove the plastic plugs and tighten the connecting nuts.
- Tighten to: 15 Nm (11 ft lb)
3. Bleed the brake system.
4. Check the tightness of all brake pipe connections.
