Removal
1. Lift the car and remove the wheel.
2. Press back the piston with a pair of grips.
3. Depress the brake pedal with a brake clamp.
4. Remove the two brake caliper securing bolts and take away the brake caliper.
5. Loosen the hose from the brake caliper.
Installation
1. Install the brake hose to the brake caliper.
NOTE: Pay attention to the rotation of the hose so it can be re-installed correctly.
2. Install the brake caliper, use locking compound and tighten the two brake caliper securing bolts.
- Tighten to: 80 Nm (59 ft lb)
3. Bleed the brake system.
4. Install the wheels and tighten the wheel studs.
- Tighten to:, light alloy wheels: 117 Nm (77.5-95.9 ft lb)
- Tighten to:, pressed steel wheels: 100 Nm (74 ft lb)
