Checking Window Lifts

Fault Symptom

The window lifts cannot be operated.

Diagnostic Procedure





1 Check that maxifuse 6 and fuse 7 are intact and live.

2 Connect an ISAT Scan Tool and obtain readings for the window lift switches in the "READ SWITCHES" menu. If the readings are OK, proceed with the diagnostic procedures for the window lift trouble codes.

3 Check that the switch panel is properly grounded on pin 8. Also check that it receives current on pins 10 and 11.

4 Check the wiring harness between the switch panel and the control module for continuity/shorting.
