Replacement of Motor and Lock In Tailgate

1 Remove the trim on the tailgate to gain access to the central locking motor.
2 Remove the bolts and disconnect the linkage from the motor.
3 Pull out the motor by means of the wiring and unplug the connector.
4 Unsnap the rod from the lock cylinder.
5 Remove the nuts securing the lock cylinder unit and lift out the entire unit from the inside.

Install in reverse order.
