Fuel Door: Service and Repair

If a fault should develop in the filler cap's central locking motor, the cap can be opened manually.
The trim inside the luggage compartment on the right is marked with a cutting outline.

This cutting outline is provided to enable the filler cap to be unlocked if a fault should develop in the filler cap's central locking motor.
1 Cut along the outline, using a sharp knife.
2 Use a torx screwdriver to slacken the screws securing the filler cap's central locking motor.
3 Withdraw the screws through the screw holes. The motor will now come away from the filler cap.
