DESCRIPTION OF OPERATION
Cars for certain markets are pre-wired for radio or audio system installation by means of two 8-pin connectors, one for the power supply and the other for the connection of loudspeakers.

These cars are also pre-wired for a motorized aerial. The connector is located behind the carpet in the luggage compartment on the left-hand side.

If a mobile telephone is installed in the car, it can be connected so that the volume of the radio is lowered when the telephone is in use.

The "Mute" signal of the mobile telephone is then connected to terminal 2 (connector A) of the radio-cassette player.

The front and rear loudspeakers are wired in connector B of the radio-cassette player as follows:
L Front
Pin 5: +
Pin 6: -

R front
Pin 3: +
Pin 4: -

L rear
Pin 7: +
Pin 8: -
