Manually Releasing CD Magazine from CD Changer
Background
In the event a CD magazine becomes jammed inside the CD unit and cannot be removed by depressing the elect button, or if you need to remove the CD magazine to return the CD unit to Clarion for service, follow the method below to manually release the magazine.
NOTE:
The manual release will only work it either all CD's are back in the magazine as seen through the small window opening on the magazine, or, if the CD is fully loaded inside the unit. If there is a CD jammed halfway between the magazine and the internal mechanism, then the magazine will not release manually and the unit must be returned to Clarion for service complete with the magazine
Please note on the service paperwork that a CD magazine is in the CD unit and Clarion will immediately return it to you.
