Trunk/Liftgate Sensor/Switch (For Alarm): Service and Repair

1 The microswitch for the tailgate is located behind the right-hand cover for the rear fog light/reversing light. Remove the microswitch from the clip.
2 Detach the green connector from the bracket by sliding it to one side.
Unplug the connector from the microswitch.
3 Install in reverse order.
