Checking the Door Switches

Fault symptom
Doors disconnected from the alarm.
The LED flashes during the delay period.

Diagnostic procedure
1 Connect the Intelligent Saab Tester (ISAT) and select the "OBTAIN READOUTS" menu and then select "DOOR". Open/close the doors and read the display.
2 If it is not OK, connect the BOB and check the voltage by measuring across pin 3 of the control module and a good grounding point while repeating point 1.
The voltage should be:
door open -> 0 V
door closed -> 12 V
If the voltage is OK, continue fault diagnosis as described in Before Control Module Replacement. Before Control Module Replacement
3 If the voltage is not OK, check the wiring for continuity/shorting by measuring the resistance across pin 31 of the ICE control module connector and pin 3 of the anti-theft alarm connector.
The resistance should be < 1 ohm.
4 Should the fault persist after the above checks have been carried out, continue fault diagnosis as described in the "ICE fault diagnosis""Electrical system, instruments".
